Academic GAINS Community Care Foundation is a new nonprofit based in Philadelphia. Our mission is simple and meaningful: to enrich underserved communities with educational, behavioral, and social emotional resources.
We provide a range of services designed to strengthen both students and the families who support them. This includes family support groups, parent workshops, community events, behavioral health resources, and school-based partnerships that help students stay engaged, motivated, and connected.
Our team understands the increasing challenges families face, and we are committed to being a dependable extension of support for your school community.
OUR STORY
Academic GAINS is owned and established in 2022 by behavior support professionals Phillip Jarmon and Timothy McDaniels, who have over 10 years of collective service delivery experience working in an academic setting. Academic GAINS utilizes the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to help students with developmental delays, disabilities, and behavior disorders aged 3 years of age and older thrive to better meet their potential; build essential life skills, encourage positive behaviors, better communicate and connect with others.
